CITY OF MONTGOMERY SAFETY CENTER INTERIM RENOVATION PROJECT Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirement of the City that this project be constructed and completed by Friday, May 2, 2025 for all work. When the total overall project exceeds $28,789 all bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County, City of Montgomery, Ohio as ascertained and determined by the Department of Industrial Relations as provided in Section 4115.03 through 4115.19 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. The Council of the City of Montgomery, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Contract documents, bid sheets, and specifications can be obtained at the Montgomery City Municipal Building, 10101 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, Ohio 45242 during regular office hours, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday for $50.00 per set, which will not be refunded. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Montgomery. Specifications will also be on file in the plan rooms of the F.W. Corporation and Allied Construction Industries, Inc., (ACI). SCOPE OF WORK The intent of the contract is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. The Contractor shall perform all items of work covered and stipulated in the proposal and perform altered and extra work, furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Should any misunderstanding arise as to the intent or meaning of the plans, specifications, special provisions or proposal, or any discrepancy arises, the decision of the City shall be final and conclusive
