Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirement of the City that the construction of this project begin no sooner than Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and be completed by Friday, November 15, 2024 for all work except for topsoil and sodding which shall be completed by Friday, December 13, 2024. When the total overall project exceeds $28,789 all bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County, City of Montgomery, Ohio as ascertained and determined by the Department ofIndustrial Relations as provided in Section 4115.03 through 4115.19 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. The City, as Contractor, has included Alternate Bids to perform similar Street Resurfacing work upon private roadways in the Vintage Club Subdivision to assure safe streetsfor private use and accessfor public safety. The same engineering and construction standards will apply to this work, and since it will be performed through the City for The Vintage Club Community Association, Inc., the work must be performed at Prevailing Wage. The Council of the City of Montgomery, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 06/04/2024 Notify the City promptly of any discrepancies in, or omissions from, the Contract Documents. The City will issue a clarifying addendum to each person on record as having received a set of Contract Documents. The City will not be responsible for oral instruction or information. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to bid date cannot be answered. Any addenda issued during the bidding period are to be included in the proposal and shall become a part thereof.
