Estimated Bid Value $2,000,000.00 Project Duration On-going up to 5 year Contract Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The City will assign Work based on a Task Order for each as-needed project. A Task Order will be issued by the Public Works Director or Water System Manager. The Task Order will identify the location, nature, and time for performance of the Work to be performed. A Task Order is not valid unless signed by the Public Works Director or Water System Manager and the Contractor. If a Contractor fails to execute and return a Task Order to the City within one working day of delivery of the Task Order to the Contractor, the City may assign the work to another Contractor. All Work must comply with State Water Resources Control Board regulations, AWWA standard practices, and the latest version of the City's standards including but not limited to the Standard Details and Storm Water Best Management Practices and this Contract. The City reserves the right to award this purchase to multiple vendors who will make up an on call list. The individual item prices of 1-71 from the lowest responsive, responsible bid will constitute the payment made for the work regardless of the Contractor providing the work. The first contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The second contract will be awarded to the next lowest responsive, responsible bidder who agrees to perform work at the unit prices provided in the low bid. If a Vendor declines to work at the prices provided in the low bid, a contract will be offered to the next lowest bidder who will work and accept per the low bid pricing. The City intends to award up to three (3) contracts. Work will be assigned to successful contractors based on City needs, Contractor availability, and other equitable considerations. A pre-bid meeting will not be held.
