St. Petersburg Chiller Plant Replacement. All work performed on this project shall be done in accordance with all the Contract Documents referenced, attached to the MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Information Portal (MFMP VIP) advertisement, and contained herein, including those documents received as a result of the submission of the Confidentiality Exemption Form (Attachment A). See Exhibit 2 in the Terms and Conditions for pricing breakdown. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to obtain competitive pricing for the replacement of Chiller #3 and related pumps. Additionally, we will connect to the new building automation system, per plans and specifications, in accordance with the contract documents and Chapter 255 of the Florida Statutes. Deadline for Questions Must be received PRIOR to: October 17, 2024 @ 5:00 PM ET On projects where the base bid and sum of all additive alternates exceeds $100,000.00 the bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (bid bond) of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. Contractor shall furnish the Owner’s Contract/Project Manager with a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond for any contracts in excess of $100,000 and shall be written by a Surety Company acceptable to Owner and authorized to do business in the State of Florida and signed by a Florida Licensed Resident Agent. Contractor is required to furnish replacement bonds in the event of cancellation of the original Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond Documents may include but are not limited to: o Any Modifications o Agreement (Exhibit 1 in the Terms & Conditions) o Addenda o Terms and Conditions o Invitation to Bid o Drawings and Specifications o Permits The Commission has an estimated budget for this project of $2,700,000. LOCATION: 100 Eighth Avenue SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 In accordance with the General Terms and Conditions, the number of days from Notice to Proceed with Construction to Substantial Completion shall be two hundred and seventy (270) calendar days and Final Completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days thereafter. The mobilization day will be at the discretion of the Contract/Project Manager.
