Totten Pond Rd and Veterans Memorial Skating Rink Pedestrian Access Improvements Project. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Milling and repaving of approximately 15,000 square yards of Totten Pond Road and the Veterans Memorial Skating Rink parking lot. 2. Approximately 1,300 square yards of full depth pavement construction. 3. Installation of four (4) catch basins, four (4) drain manholes and approximately 350 linear feet of 12 reinforced concrete drainage pipe 4. The installation of a stormwater infiltration system consisting of 28 concrete galleys embedded in crushed stone. 5. Installation of approximately 3,800 linear feet of new granite curb. 6. Remove and reset approximately 220 linear feet of existing granite curb. 7. Installation of two granite curb islands and a scored concrete rumble strip 8. Install approximately 1,480 square yards of cement concrete walks, driveway and handicap ramps. 9. Relocate the entrance to the ice rink to be opposite the entrance of for Prospect Hill Park. 10. Full traffic signalization of the intersection of Totten Pond Road and the driveways to Prospect Hill Park and the ice rink. 11. Installation of approximately 210 linear feet of concrete block retaining wall. 12. Installation of granite steps. 13. Removal of existing traffic signal. 14. Installation of thermoplastic pavement markings.
