Cambridge Reservoir Dam (MA00750), Winter St., Waltham, MA - Hobbs Brook Gatehouse and Culvert Outlet Repairs. Repair/repointing of mortar joints on the stone masonry block exterior and interior of the Hobbs Brook Gatehouse to reduce uncontrolled flow entering the dry well areas. Interior work of the Hobbs Brook Gatehouse to be performed, include such items as but not limited to, completion of repair/repointing of mortar joints and inspections of completed work, as specified. Work will occur in the wet and in the dry. Repair/stabilization of the foundation for the headwall/wingwall structure at the Hobbs Brook culvert downstream outlet (south of Winter Street) and restoring the scoured area immediately adjacent to and downstream of the culvert outlet in accordance with the Drawings. Work will occur in the wet as flow in Hobbs Brook cannot be curtailed. Plans and Specifications will be available beginning from Thursday, September 5, 2024.
