Site work for a religious / funeral development in Weare, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.

Project Title: Cemetery Monument Repairs in Center Square Cemetery off East Road Introduction: The Town of Weare, NH is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the repair services for cemetery monuments located in the Center Square Cemetery off East Road. This RFP outlines the requirements for these services and invites interested parties to submit their proposals. Project Overview: The project involves the repair and restoration of various cemetery monuments, including but not limited to headstones, footstones, and memorial plaques. The scope of work includes inspection to thoroughly examine the monuments to assess the extent of damage; repair by fixing structural damage, resetting leaning or displaced stones and repairing broken components. Scope of Work: The project was previously looked at in January 2024 and broken down into six (6) priorities for repair and restoration, as follows: o Priority #1: Leaning, soon to fall or break. Needs to be leveled and reset with concrete to prevent further damage. Approximate quantity: 35 o Priority #2: Down, laying on the ground. Needs to be stood upright, leveled and set in concrete to minimize further damage. Approximate quantity: 8 o Priority #3: Down and broken. Needs to be stood up with aluminum channel supports and concrete to prevent further damage. Approximate quantity: 12 o Priority #4: Leaning, not to fall soon but needs attention to prevent further damage. Needs to be leveled and reset with concrete. Approximate quantity: 42 o Priority #5: Leaning small stones. Need to be straightened and lined up to prevent lawn care equipment damage. These will not be set in concrete. Approximate quantity: 59 o Priority #6: Extreme, these are monuments that are already on the ground and broken into multiple pieces and not able to be stood up and supported with aluminum channels. The plan would be to dig up the area under the monument and set them in a bed of concrete to minimize further damage. Approximate quantity: 7 o Total headstones in scope of work: 163 Final Inspection: A final inspection will be conducted to 1) ensure that all the work meets the required standards and 2) a complete report is to be provided with before-and-after photographs. Proposal Requirements: Interested contractors are invited to submit comprehensive proposals addressing the following: 1. Company Profile: Provide an overview of your company, including history, qualifications, and experience with cemetery monument repairs. 2. Project Approach: Detail your approach to the monument repairs by outlining the methodology for inspection repair and restoration; as well as the timeline for completing the project. 3. Cost Estimate: Provide a breakdown of costs, including labor, materials, and any additional fees. 4. References: Furnish references from 3 past clients who can attest to the quality of your work and professionalism. 5. Insurance: Proof of insurance coverage will need to be submitted with the proposal, naming the Town of Weare, as an additional insured. Quality of previous work and references. Award Process: The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation of proposals.
