Notice is hereby given that the City of Craig will accept proposals from professional organizations with demonstrated experience in conducting classification and compensation studies until Tuesday, August 27, 2024; previous experience with public sector agencies is preferred. The City of Craig is requesting proposals for consulting services as described in more detail below. The selected firm will analyze the existing classification system and recommend changes as deemed appropriate. The selected firm will also conduct a market study and evaluate internal relationships and the organizational structure to refine the existing compensation structure, develop an implementation plan to make compensation adjustments and a cost estimate for implementing the adjustments. The plan should include consideration of both internal and external disparity. The City of Craig reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, waive formalities, negotiate terms and conditions, and to select the agent and service options that are in the best interest of the City of Craig and its employees. Inquiries and/or clarifications, which will only be accepted in written form (no phone calls), should be forwarded by email to the Human Resources Office by August 14, 2024 5:00 pm (Mountain Standard Time) to lwhite@cityofcraig.org or mailed to 300 West 4th Street, Craig, CO 81625. Clearly identify the name of the firm and the authorized representative, the RFP number and Title.
