Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and appurtenances required for demolition and removal of the abandoned concrete reservoir located at the end of Sullivan Road on Bainbridge Island. This reservoir is located within a Category IV wetland buffer, and a non-fish-bearing stream (Type Ns) buffer. Once demolished, the disturbed area must be restored in accordance with the attached restoration plan provided by Ecological Land Services (ELS). The time for completion is 45 working days. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier's check, or surety bond in accordance with the contract specifications. Contractor must be licensed to conduct business in the State of Washington. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. KPUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications.
