On-Call Design and Technical Support for Fish Passage Remediation and Habitat Enhancement. Question Deadline 08/14/2024 at 3:00 PM PT All questions and/or requests for clarification concerning this solicitation must be submitted through Online Q&A Yes Minimum Qualifications: The following qualifications are the minimum required qualifications that a Proposer must meet for a proposal to be considered responsive: o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have five (5) years of experience in ecosystem restoration. o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have one or more of the following certifications, licenses, or affiliations: a) California Civil Engineering License (PE) b) California Landscape Architect License c) California Land Surveyors License d) Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) certificate. Valley Water anticipates awarding an agreement to one or more firms for a five (5) year term with the option of two-one year term extensions if it is in the best interest of Valley Water for an estimated not-to-exceed (NTE) total amount of $5,000,000. There is no guarantee of any amount of work that will be awarded to the selected firms. The $5,000,000 also represents a Not-To-Exceed Aggregate Fee amount that shall apply to each On-Call Agreement awarded for on-call conservation design services. The NTE Aggregate Fee shall also be a total NTE amount to be shared, distributed to, and drawn from all On-Call Agreements for on-call conservation design services. The maximum aggregate compensation that Valley Water has authorized to be expended will not exceed the amount indicated above. The Proposer will provide the services outlined in Section 5. Preliminary Scope of Services. Project objectives are to improve fish passage conditions and aquatic habitat in selected Santa Clara county streams. These services will be requested on an "as-requested" or "as-needed basis" to assist Valley Water in support of fish passage impediment analysis and prioritization studies is needed to provide on-call support for the Safe, Clean Water and Natural Floodplain Protection Program, Priority D4, Restore wildlife habitat and provide open space access and other fish habitat and fish passage studies and implementation projects for tasks that may require expertise not available internally or exceed existing internal resource capacities. The Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) implements a number of capital and operational projects and programs to meet its mission and goals in water supply, flood protection and watershed stewardship. The on-call services provided pursuant to this Agreement will augment the services of Valley Water staff and provide additional project planning, design, and construction support services as needed. Scope of Services Valley Water is seeking proposals from responsive, responsible, and qualified firms ("Proposers" or "Proposer") to provide restoration planning, design and other technical support services for fish passage remediation and habitat enhancementon an on-call or an "as needed" basist. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
