The Forest Service (FS) is soliciting bids for reconstruction of Rob Brook Road Bridge, Carroll County, New Hampshire, within the White Mountain National Forest, Saco Ranger District. Work will include demolition of existing 28' bridge structure and dispose of all materials off FS lands. Construction of the new 44' bridge. Bridge plans provided show that is structure will use; steel stringers erected from a previous bridge on the forest, concrete abutment and wingwalls with micropiles, and a timber deck and wearing surface. Additional work includes but not limited to armoring shore with riprap, guardrail and approach surface treatment. All details are on attach plans. The US Forest Service, White Mountain National Forest has requirement for a bridge replacement on the Saco Ranger District in Albany, New Hampshire. This requirement is being solicited under Part 14 - Sealed Bidding, in conjunction with FAR Part 36, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. One (1) award will be made, in accordance with the acquisition procedures established in FAR 14.
