Site work and paving for a road / highway in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work approximately shown as follows: Approximately 10,770 square yards of Pulverize and Relay; approximately 7272 square yards of Removing Asphaltic Surface Milling: approximately 1625 tons of 3MT58-28S HMA pavement; approximately 2180 tons of 4MT58-34S HMA pavement; prepare foundation for asphaltic paving (project); traffic control; and all incidental items required to complete the work. The 2024 Fall Paving Project is a Wisconsin Department of Transportation 2024-2025 Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) Project. The Local Road Improvement Program applies only to the Mill and Overlay portion of the project on Jordan Lane. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to 5 percent (5%) of the total bid price payable to said City of Stevens Point as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file a contract within ten (10) days after such acceptance. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
