Separate Sealed Proposals for Prime Contractors Are Invited for the Following Construction Work: Mechanical Updates & Related Work at Flat Rock Community Schools Early Childhood Center, 30100 Olmstead Road, Flat Rock, MI 48134 Proposals are to include all work as indicated in the bounded areas called out in the contract documents for all (3) three schools listed above, including all trades (Sub-Contractors and Suppliers), as the successful Contractor will be considered a Prime Contractor, to complete all work, entering into a direct contract with the Owner. Proposal Guarantee: the Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond by an Approved Surety Company in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Proposal Submitted Payable to the Owner. Proposals Shall Remain Firm for a Period of Forty five (45) Days After Official Opening of Bids. Contract Security: the Successful Contractor Will Be Required to Furnish Performance, Labor and Material Bonds, Each in the Full Amount of the Proposal if Payments Are Issued Prior to Completion and/or the Contract is $50,000.00 or More. Familial Disclosure: All Bidders Must Provide Disclosure in Compliance With Mcl 380.1267 and Attach This Information to the Bid. The Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Sworn and Notarized Statement Disclosing Any Familial Relationship That Exists Between the Owner or the Employee of the Bidder and Any Member of the Board, Intermediate School Board, or Board of Directors or the Superintendent of the School District, Intermediate Superintendent of the Intermediate School District, or Chief Executive Officer of the Public School Academy. The District Shall Not Accept a Bid That Does Not Include This Sworn and Notarized Disclosure Statement. Iran Economic Sanctions Act Compliance: All Bidders Must Provide a Sworn and Notarized Statement In Compliance With Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012 and Attach This Information To the Bid. The District Shall Not Accept a Bid That Does Not Include This Sworn and Notarized Statement. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Irregularities, Reject Any or All Bids, Or Accept the Bid That in the Opinion of the Owner, Will Serve the Best Interests of the Owner.
