2024 Handicap Accessible Ramp Project Contractors that are interested in bidding on this project must submit their Responsible Contractor Certification prequalification forms no later than 2:00 P.M. on August 22, 2024, at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem PA 19020. The Township will notify those Bidders that have successfully met the prequalification requirements on or before August 23, 2024. Questions should be directed to the Township Engineer: Quinton Nearon, Senior Municipal Inspection Manager qnearon@bensalempa.gov Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid and made payable to Bensalem Township, PA. Davis Bacon Wages apply to this contract. This project is being paid for, in part, with CDBG funds from the US. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters.
