The City of Bartow’s Electric Department is Seeking a Qualified Contractor to Provide All Necessary Labor, Equipment, Materials, Supplies, and Supervision for The Delivery of Three (3) Outdoor Circuit Breakers for Highway 17 South Substation Located At 2290 Highway 17 South, Bartow, Fl 33830, Polk County. Questions Deadline: Monday, December 9, 2024, by 4:00 P.m. All Questions Must Be Received by the Date Stated In Writing and Must Be Sent to Deborah King, Purchasing Specialist via Email at Dking.purchasing@cityofbartow.net. The City of Bartow reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or part and/or to accept or reject any items in the bid and waive any informality. The Schedule Shall Not Exceed Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2025. Bid Term: This Bid Shall Be for a Period Not to Exceed the Current Fiscal Year; September 30, 2025 (“termination Date”) and Shall Not Contain Any Renewal Options. Additional Commodities and/or Services in Accordance With the Term & Conditions of This Bid, to Include the Scope of Work and Pricing May Be Purchased From the Awardee for a Period Not to Exceed the Termination Date Unless Otherwise Specified With the Specification. Bid Bond:bid(S) Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an Amount of Five Percent (5%) Of the Bid (List Actual Dollar Amount). In the Event a Bidder Submits More Than One Proposal, the Bidder May, at Its Option, in Lieu of Submitting a Certified Check or Bid Bond With Each Bid, Submit One Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) (List Actual Dollar Amount) of The Maximum Amount of Any Bid, Provided That the Certified Check or Bid Bond So Submitted Clearly Establishes That It is Applicable to All Bids Submitted. Attorney(S)-in-fact Who Sign Bid or Contract Bonds Must File With Each Bond a Certified Copy of Their Power(S) of Attorney to Sign Said Bonds. A bid Bond or certified check in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid.is enclosed as required bid security. The Equipment manufacturer’s extended warranty shall extend a minimum of two (2) years from the date of delivery and shall include all parts of the Equipment regardless of original manufacturer.
