As of September 13, 2024 project was awarded to Idaho Materials and Construction, awarded amount is $273,706.50. Twin Falls County is seeking bids from qualified, licensed contractors for an Earthwork and Paving Project at Centennial Park. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with a drawing prepared by Civil Science . The drawing is titled "Centennial Park Wash Station". The drawing is numbered C1 and is dated 8/7/2024. The drawing is available in digital format. The Successful Bidder will be required to complete the project this calendar year before temperatures fall below fifty degrees. This project is a phased project as indicated on the drawing. Phase one will consist of completing the majority of the work with the exception of the area occupied by the ISDA washing station. Once phase one is complete the ISDA boat washing station will be moved (by others) Northwest on to the new asphalt area and the remainder of the project will be completed. When all paving is complete the ISDA boat wash station will be moved (by others) back to its final location. Once all paving is complete and the wash station is in its final location the owner will review and finalize all pavement striping. The striping layout on the drawing is preliminary and is meant to show the general scope of work. When the owner finalizes the striping layout, any adds or deletions will be addressed in a change order. Each bidder is required to visit the site of the work to review all existing conditions. The contractor is responsible for performing his own takeoff to determine quantities, quantities shown on the drawing are for reference only. All bids must be accompanied by a copy of the contractor's Idaho Public Works Contractors License, a current copy of the contractor's certificate of liability insurance for an amount not less than one million dollars. A brief schedule for completing the work must also accompany the bid. Bids received after the time set forth above will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or considered. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and said bond shall become binding upon execution of the contract. The Twin Falls County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Written objections to drawings or bidding procedures must be received by Bob Beer at least one full business day before the date and time the bids are scheduled to be received.
