Chicago & Buffalo Streetscape Planting. A Bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 1, 2024. Description: This Contract consists of tree, shrub and perennial planting in various locations along Chicago and Buffalo Streets in Downtown Manitowoc. A total of 49 trees, 26 shrubs and 625 perennial plantings are proposed to be planted in accordance with the landscaping plan provided. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing the planting areas with topsoil and compost and finishing with mulch. The City of Manitowoc shall furnish all trees, shrubs, and perennials. The contractor shall coordinate the delivery date and location of all plant material with the city at the time the contract is signed or at least two-weeks in advance of planting. The Contractor shall furnish all other material as well as all of the necessary labor, equipment, and supplies for completing all work as outlined within this contract. Work included in this Contract shall be performed according to the plans and specifications, and to the satisfaction of the Housing and Business Development Planner.
