Late proposals will not be accepted. The project scope includes preparation of all necessary plans and to provide to the City a complete PS&E Bid Package ready for bidding. The following description of work defines the general project requirements. Associated tasks and provisions necessary for a complete project, but not specifically defined herein are to be addressed in the proposal and undertaken within the proposed "Not to Exceed" contract fee. The proposed traffic safety improvements include installation of retro-reflective backplates, implementation of Leading Pedestrian Interval (LPI) timing, re-stripe crosswalks to implement high-visibility crosswalks, upgrading controllers, cabinets and battery backup systems at various signalized intersections. This project (including the requested design services) will be funded by state funds, there are no federal funds involved.
