The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project. Major work components include f urnish all labor, materials and equipment for the removal and upgrade of the following sites: Site 2 - Cudahy River Park, 5322 Clara St, Cudahy, CA 90201: Removal of existing concrete paving at park entrance, decomposed granite paving, landscape edging. Tree removal and protection as shown within the drawings. Install concrete paving, stabilized decomposed granite, and landscape edging, install site furnishings, signage, and lighting, additional/alternative items: refurbish and replace irrigation equipment, replanting landscape. Site 3 - Clara Bridge Slopes: Removal of existing AC paving and underplanting, tree protection as shown within the drawings, install concrete retaining walls, concrete letters, bear, and lighting, painting of walls and guardrail, installation of slurry seal asphalt pavement, street lane re-striping, and way finding signage. Install basalt stone edging, planting, and irrigation. Site 4 - Cudahy Gateway Landmark: Removal of existing AC paving, concrete paving, and turf. Install concrete letters, bear, and lighting, install concrete paving, curb ramps, basalt paving, planting, and irrigation as indicated within the drawings at the intersection of Salt Lake Avenue, Elizabeth Street, and Otis Avenue. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the City of CUDAHY for an amount no less than ten'*' percent (10%) of the bid amount.
