The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project. Major work components include f urnish all labor, materials and equipment for the removal and upgrade of curb ramps, removal and upgrade of countdown pedestrian heads and pedestrian push button assemblies, cold milling and AC overlay, construction of new median, construction of PCC bus pad, various signage, and street striping. Other major works include Class II Buffered bike lane of Atlantic Ave, and Monument and Wayfinding Signages, Transit stop improvements (shelter, bench, pedestrian scale lighting, bike rack, trash cans), landscaping, and traffic signal modifications. The project shall be completed within 180 working days (including long lead time material procurement) of the effective date of City's Notice to Proceed. This project is subject to the requirements of SB 854. Prevailing wages shall be paid to all workers in accordance with California Labor Code 1771. All Bidders and listed subcontractors must be currently registered with the California State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5 prior to submitting a Bid.
