Contract Duration: Work to Be Completed by March 15, 2025 the Work Under This Contract Includes Installing a French Drain Storm Drain System, Road Pipe Crossing Patches, and a Short Section of Road Grading and Paving at Valley Gutters. The Work is in Sussex County, De, as Described in These Special Provisions and as Shown by the Contract Drawings. See the Scd Website for Detailed Project Information. Location: the Reservation Development Entrance is on Ceder Neck Road in Bethany Beach, De. The Reservation Trail Entrance is Approximately 6,533 if North of the Fred Hudson Road & Cedar Neck Road Intersection. Project Scope: the Work Under This Project Will Consist of Clearing and Grubbing in the Limits of Disturbance Necessary to Install the Proposed Drainage Improvements. All Debris Associated With Clearing and Grubbing Shall Be Removed by the Contractor and Disposed of in Accordance With Dnrec Guidelines. The Project Will Also Consist of Installing a French Drain Storm Drain System From the Intersection of Reservation Trial and Territory Trial to Its Terminus Point in the Marsh at the End of Reservation Trail. The Storm Drain System Will Run Down Both Sides of the Reservation Trial and Cross the Road in Several Locations. The Concrete Valley Gutters on Territory Trail Will Be Removed, and Storm Drain Pipes and Structures Will Be Installed to Maintain Drainage. The Road Shall Be Regraded at These Locations to Match Existing Territory Trail Grades and Patched Per Deidot Standards. All Pipe Crossings Shall Be Repaired to Deidot Road Crossing Standards. The Storm Drain System With an Approximate Length of 1015 if Con Sisting of Pipe Ranging From 12" Rpc Iv to 12" Perforated Hdpe Pipe Shall Be Installed, 15 Structures Shall Be Installed Consisting of 34x18 Deidot Basins, 24x24 Deidot Basins, 15" Nyloplast Drain Basins, 18" Nyloplast Drain Basins, and 1- Tideflex Checkmate Ultraflex Inline Check Valve Shall Be Installed. All Work Shall Be Completed With the Necessary Erosion and Sediment Controls and Stabilization. All Disturbed Areas Shall Be Re-stored in Kind or by the Plan. Org, Under the "Resources Tab" and Then "Bids & Rfps." No Pre-bid Meeting Will Be Held. A Bid Bond Must Accompany Each Bid and Be Payable to the District for Ten (10) Percent of the Bid Amount. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Ninety (90) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide a Performance Bond to the District. All Bidders Must Use, to the Greatest Extent Feasible, Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Businesses and Will Not Discriminate Based on Race, Color, National Origin, or Sex When Considering Businesses for Subcontracting and Material/equipment Supplies. This Project is Subject to the State of Delaware Prevailing Wage Rate Requirements as Stated in the Contract Documents. The Right is Reserved, as the Interests of the District May Appear, to Reject All Bids, to Waive Any Information in Bids Received, and to Accept or Reject Any Items of Any Bid.
