Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Darby, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Lot 1: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation - 14th St. Scope of Work includes lining of the sanitary sewer main, replacement of street laterals including trench restoration, and rehabilitation of manholes. Lot 2: 1-1/2" milling and resurfacing of the full width cartway and installation of (3) ADA-compliant curb cut ramps. A Certified Check or Bid Bond for the amount of ten percent (10%) of total bid price shall be required with bid submission. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required by the successful bidder in the amount of 100% of the contract price and shall be required at the time of contract execution. A two-year maintenance bond for 15% will be provided to the Borough. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additional contract forms as required by funding through the CDBG program are applicable to this project. The successful Contractor shall respond within ten (10) days of the contract award. The performance period shall be 240 days, weather permitting, following the Notice to Proceed. The Darby Borough Council reserves the right to reject any bid and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose services are judged to best meet the interest of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities during the evaluation of the bids. Attention of Bidders is called to all the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, various insurance requirements, and various equal opportunity provisions.
