blacktop patching The patches will be of various sizes Patches that will be graded for blacktop by City Department of Public Works Eli/Barber - 27' x 17' Approx 457 sq ft East Iron/Northeast Street - 17' x 11' Approx 187 sq ft Eli Ave/Johnson Road #1 - 3.5' x 111' Approx 504 sq ft #2 - 17' x 40' Approx 680 sq ft #3 - 15' x 12' Approx 180 sq ft #4 - 8' x 8' Approx 64 sq ft Patches that WILL REQUIRE grading by the Contractor 4 th/Hematite - 133' x 24' Approx 3,192 Optional Patches (will be prepped) East Colby/South Beecher - 17' x 53' Approx 901 sq ft East Colby/South Moore - 40' x 18' Approx 720 sq ft (Patch is abnormal shape, square footage is estimated). Contractor Responsibility and Requirements Patches shall be a minimum of 3" in thickness. Contractor shall provide the City of Bessemer with three (3) days notice to allow for patches to be graded for blacktop. Contractor shall not pave during rain. Contractor is responsible for verifying square footages, due to some abnormally shaped patches, square footage is estimated. All patches shall be completed by October 15, 2024.
