The "Project Area" currently consists of Parcel. The lot size is 168,968 square feet, or 3.88 acres, within the parcel area. The Project Area is currently zoned as R-1. The City of Greenwood is proposing that the Project Area would best be developed as a dining establishment or commercial store front that adds value to the surrounding neighborhood and adds foot traffic to enhance the City's ability to attract residents and visitors from the surrounding area. Due to its location right along Highway 150, the City considers this property a significant asset that offers unique commercial development opportunities, which highlights the need for development. The City intends to work with a Developer on the necessary entitlement processes on a proposal meeting the objectives outlined in the RFP. Interested parties having the creative vision, demonstrated experience, and financial capability to plan, develop, and manage projects of the type and scope as described in this RFP are encouraged to respond. Any proposals received after the specified date and time will be rejected and returned unopened. Proposals may not be modified or withdrawn after the submittal deadline. However, a respondent may withdraw one's proposal from the selection process at any time prior to the submittal deadline. The City reserves the right to extend the time for submittals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
