The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary and/or required to provide snow plowing, snow removal, snow hauling and snow disposal services for a period between October 23, 2024, to April 1, 2025. Multiple contractors will be utilized by the Union City Department of Public Works (DPW) to ensure coverage of the City of Union City. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Documents by request upon proper notice to the above e-mail address. The bid proposal packages will not be available for pickup. In the e-mail message, the contractor shall indicate if they request an electronic copy (PDF format) or paper copy. Bids must be made on the Proposal Form, in its entirety (print clearly- the requested equipment information) in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed, three (3) copies in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the City of Union City, City Hall, 3715 Palisade Avenue, Union City, New Jersey 07087. Bidders will be notified directly by the Department of Public Works (DPW) of their contract status. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or part, or to make multiple awards and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
