The City of Miramar is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to furnish all material, equipment, labor, and any incidentals to replace 1" and 1 1/2 "service pipeline in the Silver Lakes Community in the City of Miramar. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive any informality in a bid/proposal and/or in the bidding/selection process, and to make awards, if awarded, to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder/offeror as deemed in the best interest of the City. The scope of services includes the following: o Pipe Replacement (1" dia) - This item includes pavement removal, excavation and removal of existing water lateral and replace with new 1" diameter water service pipeline (polypipe blue) including all fittings from the watermain to the meter box. Unit price must include restoration of pavement base materials which is flushed to existing pavement. o Pipe Replacement (1-1/2" dia) - This item includes pavement removal, excavation and removal of existing water lateral and replace with new 1-1/2" diameter water service pipeline (polypipe blue) including all fittings from the watermain to the meter box. Unit price must include restoration of pavement base materials which is flushed to existing pavement. o Removal, disposal, furnish and install new 4-inch-thick concrete sidewalk. o Removal, disposal, furnish and install new 6-inch-thick concrete sidewalk. o Removal, furnish and install FDOT Type F curb and gutter. o Removal, furnish and install valley curb and gutter (FDOT Drop Curb) o Removal, furnish and install FDOT Type D curb. o Asphalt Pavement Restoration - Furnish all materials and equipment to install Type S-3 asphaltic concrete leveling course using not more than 25% by weight of total aggregates of reclaimed asphalt. This item also includes pavement preparation, maintenance of traffic preparation, routing, and setup. o Sod/Swale Restoration - Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to lay St. Augustine Floratam, including site preparation, and all other appurtenances. o Hydro Vactor Truck Rental.
