Bids Must Be Made on the Bid Proposal Forms Contained in Section 3 of the Technical Bid Specifications & Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Plainly Marked, Reconstruction of Ridgewood Drive and Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder Clearly Marked on the Outside. This Total Project Consists of the Roadway Milling and Repaving of 3,055+/- Lf of Ridgewood Drive. It Also Includes Installing Concrete Curbs, Aprons and Ada Compliant Ramps, Adding/replacing Traffic Signs and Installing Traffic Markings. The Project Also Includes Some Other Miscellaneous Items as Required to Complete the Project. Bid Security in the Form of a Certified Treasurer's or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of 10% of the Bid Amount Not to Exceed $20,000 is Required and Should Be Made Payable to the City of Northfield With a Letter of Surety. Successful Bidder is Required to Pay the Higher of the Current State or Federal Prevailing Wage Rate to All Workers Employed on the Project. Successful Bidder Must Furnish a One Hundred (100%) Percent Performance Bond and One Hundred (100%) Percent Payment Bond Issued by a Surety Satisfactory to the Municipality. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of the Affirmative Action Regulations of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1 Et Seq Financing for the Reconstruction of Ridge Drive is Made Possible by a Grant From the New Jersey Department of Transportation. A Deposit of $125.00 Per Set Will Be Required Which Will Not Be Refunded. If Mailed, via Usps, an Additional Payment of $25.00 Will Be Required.
