Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in San Rafael, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
After many years of use, the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ( HVAC) systems within areas of the Albert J. Boro Community Center need to be replaced. In conjunction with replacement of the HVAC roof unit, sections of the existing roof must be replaced to ensure a watertight seal. As of September 12, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This project is budgeted for the 2025/26 fiscal year through the 2026/27 fiscal year. Information regarding an engineer or general contractor is not available. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
