The City needs of a licensed and qualified contractor skilled in the removal, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous liquid waste from the City of Avondale facilities listed below to a City-approved landfill site (the "Services"). An estimated 1,850,000 gallons of brine waste solution and 175,000 gallons of arsenic sludge (collectively, the "Liquid Waste") will be removed and disposed of annually. Preference will be given to Contractors who are able to perform the Services for all the Liquid Waste. This Contract shall be effective from the date it is fully executed by the City and remain in full force and effect for one year thereafter (the "Initial Term"), unless terminated as otherwise provided herein The following locations shall hereinafter be referred to individually as (the "Facility" ) and collectively as (the "Facilities" ). Northside Arsenic Treatment Facility, 3850 N El Mirage Rd, Avondale , AZ; Gateway Nitrate Removal Facility, 1960 N 99th Ave, Avondale, AZ; and Garden Lakes Nitrate Removal Facility, 3100 N I 07th Ave, Avondale, AZ. Product documentation required by Section titled "Product Documentation" shall be delivered to the City upon delivery of the Materials. Delivery shall not be considered complete until the City is in receipt of the manuals. Vendor shall retain title and control of all Materials until they are delivered and the City has accepted delivery. All risk of transportation and all related charges shall be the responsibility of the Vendor. All claims for visible or concealed damage shall be filed by the Vendor. The City will notify the Vendor promptly of any damaged Materials and shall assist the Vendor in arranging for inspection. The City reserves the right to cancel and reject the Materials upon default by Vendor in time, rate or manner of delivery. The City also reserves the right to refuse shipments made in advance of any scheduled delivery date appearing on the Purchase Order. Final Date for Inquiries September 25, 2024, 5:00pm Any question related to the IFB, including any part of the Specifications, Scope of Work or other Contract Documents, shall be directed to the Procurement Administrator. Verbal or telephone inquiries directed to City staff will not be answered. Within two business days following the Final Date for Inquiries listed on the cover page of this IFB, answers to all questions received via online or via e-mail will be posted on online as an addendum. Questions shall be submitted in writing via online The purpose of this IFB is to secure a qualified Vendor(s) to provide the City with Brine Waste Hauling Disposal Services (the "Services and/or Materials"), as more particularly described in the section titled "Scope of Work".
