Construction Manager at Risk with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) This project shall have a Supplier Diversity participation goal of 10% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), 10% Women Business Enterprise (WBE)//Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), and a 3% Veteran/Service-Disabled Veteran (SDVE) of the GMP. The Construction Manager at Risk is strongly encouraged to include minority and women owned firms. CMRs are also strongly encouraged to include Missouri-based firms on the team. General Project Information The Medical Science Building - 7E Renovation project renovates a portion of the east wing on the seventh floor to replace and repair damaged BSL2 laboratory space damaged by a recent explosion in existing duct work. The scope includes but is not limited to selective demolition, selective window replacement, replacement and repair of MEP and telecom distribution systems, incidental MEP/FP scopes of work in adjacent occupied laboratory spaces including patch and repair of architectural finishes, new fire suppression and fire alarm system installation, interior construction including built-in and movable laboratory benches and equipment, new office spaces, and purchase and installation of FF&E. The project includes additive alternate scopes to renovate existing public restrooms on the east wing of the 7th floor and install new and/or activate the existing fire sprinklers in the remaining areas of the seventh floor. The estimated GMP is $2,169,205 including major laboratory equipment. Funding requires all contracts (complete GMP covering all scopes) executed by December 24, 2024.
