Completed plans call for the addition of a 43,000-square-foot medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; for asbestos abatement for a medical facility; and water / sewer project.

This is the first bid package for the VMDL Phase 2 for University of Missouri. Below are the following packages out for bid: 2.1A - Building Demolition 2.1B - Asbestos/Universal Waste Removal 21.1 - Fire Suppression 23.1 - Plumbing/Mechanical 26.1 - Electrical 31.1 - Excavation/Site Utilities Last day for questions - October 1, 2024 at 2pm The project consists of demolition of the existing Veterinary Diagnostic Lab Building and new construction of approximately 43,000 sf of new building that will be connected to the Phase 1 Addition. The building will consist of offices, classrooms and laboratory space. A Preconstruction Conference will be held at the jobsite after the award of successful bidders, date and time to be determined. Attendance by successful bidders is required to review the scope of the Project. The successful Bidders may be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. Such bond shall be provided within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract by the successful bidders. The cost of this bond is to be bid as additive Alternate 6. See 00 0002 1.16 Bonds for more information. If bidding on multiple bid packages, please submit a bid form for each individual work category. Bidders are allowed to submit combination bids of multiple bid packages. However, the bidder must also bid each package individually. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 90 days before awarding contracts. See 00 0002 1.11 Bidding Procedures for more information. The project will have a goal of 10% MBE, 10% Combined WBE, DBE, Veteran Owned Business and 3% SDVE diversity participation. Bidders must make a good faith effort to meet these goals when preparing bids.
