The exact scope of work under this contract will be determined during the life of the contract. Individual work projects will be identified, and payment schedules will be negotiated at that time. These work projects may involve one or more of the following: 1. The consultant will investigate stormwater, drainage and/or water quality problems and make recommendations for possible solutions, cost estimates, and a time frame for each project. 2. The consultant will complete the stormwater study, drainage and water quality model, perform the design, and prepare complete construction contract documents for selected stormwater projects. 3. The consultant will prepare applications, exhibits, and submittal packages required by the various federal, state, regional, and local permitting agencies for stormwater improvement projects. 4. The consultant will coordinate permitting of stormwater improvement and/or replacement projects with the North St. Lucie River Water Control District, Ft. Pierce Farms Water Control District, South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Transportation District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, etc. 5. The consultant will identify anticipated stormwater improvements and provide budget estimates for design and construction
