Launch Ramp Reconstruction - Balsam Bay, Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba (MB). The purpose of this project is to repair the existing Launch Ramp at Balsam Bay, MB. The project includes the demolition and removal of existing launch ramp and the installation of a new launch ramp complete with new pre-cast concrete pads, new cast-in-place concrete pads and base material. The work under this contract covers: - Demolition and removal of approximately fifteen (15) existing concrete launch ramp pads. - Demolition and removal of two (2) concrete launch ramp slabs. - Excavation to suit new ramp installation. - Supply and install of new granular base and sub-base. - Supply and install of six (6) new pre-cast concrete launch ramp pads. - Supply and install of two (2) cast-in-place concrete launch ramp pads. - Supply and install geotextile material. - Supply and install rip-rap material.
