Residential collection and disposal of Solid Waste and Single Stream Recyclable Materials. The Contract will be for a three (3) year period with the option to extend the contract for two (2) successive one -year periods. Questions will be accepted until 11:30 P.M., prevailing time, September 30, 2024; questions will be accepted through online, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted through online. Please note the lowest responsible bidder who is awarded the Contract is responsible to provide an award fee to online. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price but not more than $300,000. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond as listed in the Specifications within ten (10) days of the Contract award. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals for whatever reason in their absolute discretion. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated for whatever reason in their absolute discretion.
