As of November 15, 2024, project was awarded to Northern AV Group with the amount of $188,531.70. Title: Wayne County Board of Commissioners Courthouse Campus Network Cabling Project. The Wayne County Board of Commissioners, located in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana is seeking proposals from qualified offerors for a network cabling project in three (3) buildings located upon the courthouse campus. The project involves replacing the existing single CAT5e cabling with two CAT6a cables per drop according to the provided prints. Perspective offerors are encouraged to schedule a "walk-thru" of the courthouse campus with the County's Information Technology Department. The are identified as: 1. Courthouse Administration Building (Annex Building) 401 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 o Two floors o Ground level-79 network drops o Lower level-74 network drops\ 2. Courthouse 301 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 o Four floors o 1st floor-123 network drops o 2nd floor-80 network drops o 3rd floor-69 network drops o Basement-16 network drops 3. Sheriff's Department/Jail 200 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 o Two floors o 1st floor-53 network drops o 2nd floor-70 network drops. Additional Project Scope Information o Contractors will be expected to utilize existing pathways where accessible. o Each network cable drop will be terminated, labeled, and tested to ensure that each cable is operational ready. The test results will be provided in an XLSX spreadsheet upon completion. o The existing CAT5e cabling will be removed from the buildings and disposed of by the contractor. o In all likelihood, some work will need to be done in the evening, after employee work hours in both the Annex Building and Courthouse. o The Offeror shall furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision as required. Minimum Requirements for Proposals o Provide the firm name, address of the responsible officer from which the work will be performed, and the name and email address of the contact person authorized to negotiate for the associated work. o Provide a list of all proposed subcontractors, the subcontractor's status on the Office of the Inspector General's Exclusion List, and the percentage of work each subcontractor will perform on the project. o List the Project Manager and other key staff members, including key subcontractor staff and the percentage of time the project manager will be committed to the job. o The proposal must include a detailed outline of the offeror's approach, project timeline and total cost of the project. o Proposals should include how change orders are managed. o Proposals should include a breakdown of costs for each building. o Provide a list of materials, including brand, type, quantity, and source of the materials for each building. o Provide a list of at least three similar projects which the firm has completed in the past, including the completion date and the contact person for each project. o A description of any information, materials, or services the firm would expect the County to supply or perform to complete the project. Proposal Evaluation The following criteria will be used to evaluate the proposal. o Quality and completeness of the proposal. o Timeline of project's completion. o The proposed budget is reasonable and reflective of the project's scope of work. The cost of the project will be of relative importance as related to other evaluation criteria. o The firm has experience of working within the stated environment. o The firm's proposal demonstrates the necessary skills, capacity, resources, and experience to complete the project. o The proposal contains at least three references for similar projects the firm has completed. All firms will be afforded equal opportunity to submit proposals and will not be discriminated against in consideration for selection on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, creed, marital status, ancestry, sexual orientation, national origin or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local law. Selection o The County reserves the right to accept or reject any of the proposals. o The County also may conduct discussions or negotiations with responsible offerors who submit proposals that are reasonably susceptible of being selected for award. Reservation of Rights o The County reserves the right, at any time, and for any reason, to cancel this solicitation, to reject any and all proposals, to modify any requirements, terms, or conditions as outlined in this Request for Proposal when such modification is in the best interest of the County. o The County may seek clarification from the offeror at any time and failure to respond promptly may be cause for rejection.
