The transit bus garage is located at 215 E Fairplains Greenville, MI 48838. This work will include the following: o Replace current 5" seamless aluminum gutter on the east end of the building o Install a recommended snow brake solution that is compatible with existing roof metal. (Roof is 4/12 pitch) o Build end caps for existing rake metal to prevent bird inhabitance. The CITY OF GREENVILLE expects to issue a NOTICE TO PROCEED upon receipt of the fully executed CONTRACT and INSURANCE certificates. The CONTRACTOR shall begin Work within 10 days of the NOTICE TO PROCEED or as agreed upon with the Transit Manager. The work can proceed following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that this work should be completed by December 1st, 2024 unless extended by mutual agreement. The competency and responsibility of BIDDERS will be considered in awarding CONTRACTS. The CITY OF GREENVILLE does not oblige itself to accept the lowest or any other bid. The CITY OF GREENVILLE reserves the right to waive any informality or minor defects in any or all bids. The CITY OF GREENVILLE reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities of BID ITEMS without additional compensation. No BIDDER may withdraw a BID within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the CONTRACT cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the CITY OF GREENVILLE and the BIDDER.
