Asbestos abatement and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Claremont, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a 4,500-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and for asbestos abatement for a clubhouse / community center.

**As of December 05, 2024, this project will be re-bid. No anticipated date determined. The Claremont Development Authority (CDA) invites sealed bids for the Claremont Creative Center Roof Replacement Project. Bidders must hold their bids open for a period of 60 days. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond with the sealed bid, Insurance Certificate and a 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required prior to Contract Execution. Scope of Work: The Work includes but is not limited to: *Federally Funded Project - Davis Bacon Wages required* Asbestos Abatement - Remove, package, transport, and dispose of identified asbestos materials. Provide pre and post abatement documentation for proper record keeping. Remove and dispose of approximately 4,500 SF of multiple layer roofing down to wood roof deck. Remove and dispose of (2) abandoned mechanical units and all unused vents and pitch pockets. Remove and dispose of all metal/copper flashing and caps. Remove and dispose of existing stairway/ladder Infill existing stairway/ladder to roof Furnish and install new roof access ladder & cage (From neighboring property roof) Furnish and install wood blocking at top of parapets as required. Furnish and install plywood sheathing at back side of parapet walls. Furnish and install a 6-Mil poly vapor barrier. Furnish and installed a double layer of 2.6" (R=30) polyisocyanurate insulation. Install tapered insulation cricket between roof drains. Furnish and install a 1/2 " HD iso coverboard. Attach insulation with approved fasteners per manufacturer's specifications. Adhere 0.060 non-reinforced black EPDM membrane per manufacturer's specifications. Flash existing walls and roof penetrations. Fabricate and install 0.032 aluminum gravel stop. Clean up. All materials installed per manufacturer's specifications. Coordination with Owner's HVAC Contractor for existing rooftop units and Plumbing Contractor for roof drainpipe repairs The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bid. Owner anticipates releasing the Notice to Proceed by October 25th, 2024. Project to be completed by December 31, 2024. Addendums to Contract Documents shall be posted electronically no later than 10:00 AM EST on Friday, October 11th, 2024. Funding for this project includes federal funds and is subject to all federal requirements, including, but not limited to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates.
