Renovation of a fire / police facility in Smithers, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Town of Smithers is seeking a Contractor to supply labour and materials for the renovation of a bathroom at the Fire Hall. The existing bathroom is to be renovated to include a shower. Existing mechanical and electrical are to be relocated as required. The Fire Hall is a working office, and construction and sub trades should be organized to disrupt office operations as little as possible, for the shortest time possible. The design of the project has been completed by a Registered Architect SCOPE OF WORK: All work to be completed by December 15, 2024. Construct bathroom as per provided plans. Worksite safety for crew and the public is of highest importance. Contractor to coordinate and schedule all work with Firehall staff. Contractor to coordinate with sub trades as required. Set up barriers and signage to keep public away from work areas. Maintain clear egress routes through office. Leave job site clean daily.
