Written questions must be received on or before September 20, 2024, by 11:00 a.m. (PST) Contact Organization Housing Authority, City of Los Angeles Name Timothy Shay Email Email timothy.shay@hacla.org HACLA issues this Invitation for Bids ("IFB") to secure bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, supervision, and professional services required for the abatement, utility disconnection, demolition, disposal, and soil remediation of a total of (39) twostory residential townhome buildings containing two hundred forty-six (246) individual units, one (1) single-story management and maintenance building, one (1) two-story community building (gymnasium), five (5) paved surface parking lots, and related improvements and vegetation, across ten (10) project areas, covering approximately seventeen (17) acres in multiple separate mobilizations at HACLA's Jordan Downs public housing community ("Jordan Downs"), which is generally located at 9800 Grape Street, Los Angeles. The bid package, including plans and specifications, are attached to this solicitation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, supervision, and professional services required for the abatement, utility disconnection, demolition, disposal, and soil remediation of a total of thirty-nine (39) two-story residential townhome buildings containing two hundred eighty-four (284) individual units, one (1) single-story management and maintenance building, one (1) two-story community building (gymnasium), five (5) paved surface parking lots, and related improvements and vegetation, across ten (10) project areas, covering approximately seventeen (17) acres in multiple separate mobilizations at HACLA's Jordan Downs public housing community ("Jordan Downs"). Debris and non-hazardous VOC- and TPH-impacted soils (non-RCRA) were discovered in several previous demolition projects at Jordan Downs, particularly under paved parking lots.
