Demolition and site work for a residential development in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide demolition services for the structure(s) located at 1025 Hampton Avenue, 12 Buchanan Drive, and 4910 Warwick Boulevard. Contractor is responsible for removal and legal disposal of all asbestos-containing material, if present and/or identified in the specifications, removal and legal disposal of all personal property from within the structure(s), demolition of the structure(s), removal and legal disposal of all debris, and clearing, grading and seeding of the areas disturbed per these specifications for the demolition of 1025 Hampton Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607, 12 Buchanan Drive, Newport News, VA 23608, and 4910 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23607. Questions regarding this Request for Quotes (RFQ) must be submitted in writing through the online Procurement Question/Answer Tab via the City's e-Procurement portal, on or before, Monday, September 30, 2024 by 1:00 pm. Please include the section title for each question, if applicable, in order to ensure that questions asked are responded to correctly. All questions submitted and answers provided shall be electronically distributed to bidders following this solicitation on the City's e-Procurement Portal received prior to the date and time as provided for in this solicitation. The City reserves the right to require the successful Contractor to provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond before award of this project. Where prompted in the Questionnaire, Bidder shall state the total cost of these bonds that would be passed on to the City, should the City decide to require them.
