As of January 2, 2025, project is awarded to Signature Sight & Sound for the amount of $79,932.05. This project involves upgrading and expanding the audio capabilities and acoustical treatments for the Grand Hall located at the City of Mount Holly Municipal Complex at 400 E Central Ave. The acoustical space design portion of this project will contain a treatment with a minimum of 150 suspended ceiling baffles measuring 4'x2'x1.5" thick, black in color. Additionally, a minimum of 10 Sonora acoustical wall panels measuring 4'x8'x2" thick with custom print content. The Audio portion of this project will be a complete system overhaul from our current system. We plan to break up the Grand Hall into two spaces, Zone 1 and Zone 2. Zone 1- This is the area at the far-right side of the meeting space, AKA the North end of the Grand Hall. There will be four speakers installed in this area. Zone II- This is the remaining area of the event space. There will be twelve speakers installed in this area. The design should allow for each zone to be active or dormant with independent volume control over each zone. This level of flexibility will allow both zones to work together to utilize the entire space (all 16 speakers) or independently. Bidder will supply all equipment, materials, labor including design work with documentation, schematics, and system training to make this a turnkey project. All the speakers should be surface mounted onto the walls, not the ceiling. Preferred project completion date is December 31, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals for failure to comply with all requirements of this notice or of any of the contract documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The City further reserves the right to reject all proposals or award a contract which, in its judgment, is in the best interest of the City.
