Request for Qualifications-Ida Rankin Mural The City of Mount Holly is seeking qualifications from professional artists, or artist teams, to work in collaboration with the Public Arts Advisory Commission (PAAC) to design & install a mural on a retaining wall located at Ida Rankin Elementary School. The wall has two segments, the first which is approximately thirteen feet by sixteen feet, and the second wall varies in height from approximately nine feet to approximately thirteen feet tall and about thirty feet wide. The total area of both sections is approximately 516 sq. ft. The artist(s) will be selected at the PAAC's December 18th meeting-while the design would be approved by the PAAC at their January 15th meeting, which will incorporate elements from art produced by students at the School. The project will be completed by the end of April 2025.
