The City reserves the right to reject any proposals for failure to comply with all requirements of this notice or of any of the contract documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The City further reserves the right to reject all proposals or award a contract which, in its judgment, is in the best interest of the City. Scope of Work: The City of Mount Holly, NC desires to improve recreational facilities and corridor mobility in the vicinity of River Street Park and Dutchman's Creek for the residents and visitors of the City. The project limits include and extend east from River Street Park, approximately 800 feet east of Dogwood Drive. This project includes, but is not wholly limited to, the following construction services: Mobilization; maintenance of traffic; installation of new and resurfacing of existing pedestrian greenway trail (approximately 3000 linear feet [LF]. total); installation of approximately 294LF of elevated timber boardwalk; installation of bridge substructure elements; installation of a 188LF prefabricated steel pedestrian truss over Dutchman's Creek; installation of bridge lighting and associated electrical components; installation of a kayak launch facility along Dutchman's Creek; installation of a kayak storage shelter; installation of a picnic shelter within River Street Park; & installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control items.
