Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Mount Holly is seeking qualifications from professional artists, or artist teams, to design and install a mural on an existing crosswalk, which is approximately 183 sq. ft., located near the intersection of Rankin Avenue and Hicks Circle in Mt Holly. The City will hire a contractor to mill out this area of the roadway and provide new asphalt for the artist(s) to work-who would also paint back the striping around the crosswalk to provide a border for the artist to work. The City's art board will select the artist(s) at their January 15th meeting-while the design would be approved at their February 19th meeting. The project will be completed by the end of April 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any offer for failure to comply with all requirements of this notice or of any of the contract documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion.
