The project scope includes installation of six (6) micro piles under three (3) settled columns, excavation and backfill for micro pile installation, removing and replacing the concrete slab adjacent to the settled columns, replacing and painting the damaged siding and fascia board, site clearing and restoration, obtaining a building permit with the City of Columbia, and other miscellaneous construction specified by the Contract Documents. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the plans and specifications or the acceptability of alternate products, materials, form or type of construction. Every request for interpretation shall be made in writing and submitted with all supporting documents not less than seven (7) calendar days before opening of bids. The request shall be sent directly to the Infrastructure Management Branch, Missouri Department of Conservation, 2901 West Truman Blvd., P.O. Box 180, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102. Every interpretation made to a bidder will be in the form of an addendum and will be sent as promptly as is practicable to all persons to whom plans and specifications have been issued. All such addenda shall become part of the contract documents. No communication, oral or otherwise, concerning the interpretation of plans and specifications shall be binding on Owner, unless provided in the form of an addendum as set forth in this section. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
