Project Description In general, work includes CM/GC services for the remodel and expansion of the City's Public Works Administration Building. Approximately 2,300 square feet of the existing building will be renovated and will include a new addition of approximately 4,000 square feet. The estimated cost of the work is approximately $3.5 million. The City plans on using existing internal funds for the project. The City will complete a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to select the CM/GC from among those submitting proposals according to the requirements of the RFP. When selected, the CM/GC will be a part of a project team composed of the Owner Team, Design Team, CM/GC, and subcontractors and other project consultants as required through the completion of this Project. Hacker Architecture and Interior Design and their subcontracting team has been selected as the Design Team to provide architecture and civil engineering services for the project. Construction of this project is targeted to begin in early Spring, 2025. Work sequencing has yet to be determined. Prevailing Wage / Public Works This solicitation is for a public works project which is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. construction completed as part of this project will be subject to Oregon BOLI Prevailing Wage Rates and all associated requirements.
