PURPOSE OF REQUEST The County of Union is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide Recycling and Litter Abatement Exhibit Space Design, Fabrication, and Installation at Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside, NJ and other services of a specialized nature to the County. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria set forth in this RFP. TENTATIVE PERIOD OF CONTRACT November 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025 Anticipated contract timeframe - two moths of preparation, four months of project construction and two months for project closeout. CONTRACT FORM The successful proposer shall be required to execute the County's form contract, which includes the indemnification, insurance, termination and licensing provisions. A complete copy of a draft County form contract is available upon request. Failure on the part of the successful proposer to execute said agreement within ten (10) business days of award may result in termination of the award. It is also agreed and understood that the acceptance of the final payment by Contractor shall be considered a release in full of all claims against the County arising out of, or by reason of, the work done and materials furnished under this Contract.
