For Supplying Station Service Voltage Transformers and Capacitor Voltage Transformers for Painted Hills Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check payable to the order of Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington for a sum not less than 5% of the amount of the Total Bid Price, The deadline to submit questions or request for clarification to the District shall be five days prior to the time and date that Bids are due. To assure compliance with the terms of the Contract, the Contractor shall furnish a Payment and Performance Bond in an amount equal to 25% of the amount of the Contract Price, excluding Washington State Sales Tax, with surety or sureties who are acceptable to the District. This Payment and Performance Bond shall remain in force for a period of 365 days after final payment. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to accept the Bid which in its sole and absolute judgment will under all circumstances best serve the interest of the District.
