The City of Independence, Missouri's Water Pollution Control Division of the Municipal Services Department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to renovate the men and women's locker room, basement floor hallway, main floor back employee entrance, corridor with the men's/women's rest rooms, reception lobby area & offices and new front office. The winning respondent will be required to provide a one year payment, performance and maintenance bond. Contractor is required to provide the bond on the attached city bond form. Bond is not required to be submitted at the time of responding to the RFP. Paint this entrance area, stairwell to the basement, & down main level corridor 121 to corridor 114. Paint all of corridor 114 - it wraps around and goes past the steps & turns right and goes down behind the control room. Paint the stairwell down from corridor 114 to the basement and the stairwell to the second-floor landing. Paint the landing area as designated, but do not paint from the first landing to the top landing. Paint all door frames on the hallway side to match the cove base. Discuss options for recovering the stairwell from this entry lobby (120 area) to the basement hallway - (Possibly replicate stairwell to basement with tread plate & cove cover) Corridor 102 (Corridor with Men's/Women's rest rooms) This corridor will have flooring removed, prepped, & new epoxy flooring installed to mate with corridor 114 that has existing epoxy flooring. (Green highlighted area) Paint & install new 4" cove base. Paint Men's & Woman's non tiled restroom walls white.
