The City of Independence, Missouri Water Division invites bids from firms to perform services through following the attached scope of work at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant. The contract for this project shall provide for, but not be limited to, all equipment, materials, and workmanship required for the removal, inspection, refurbishment, delivery, installation, and startup of one (1) vertical line shaft turbine pump ("reclaim pump no.1") assembly. The assembly includes 1) 3 phase, 480v electric motor. The Water Department desires to refurbish this existing pump assembly to ensure operational reliability. The contract for this project shall provide for, but not be limited to, all equipment, materials, and workmanship required for the removal, inspection, refurbishment, delivery, installation, and startup of one (1) vertical line shaft turbine pump ("reclaim pump no.l") assembly. The scope of work to be completed by the successful bidder shall be further defined by the following: Line Item No. 1) Provide for all workmanship, manufactured equipment, manufactured goods, and materials as required and as specified for complete refurbishment of the existing vertical line shaft pump assembly and it's motor. This line item work shall be completed by the Bidder as a lump sum "turn-key" project, including but not limited to removal, transportation, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, testing, rebuilding, installation, startup, and testing of the existing assembly
